St. Mary's Exam Results 2002 to 2012


Leaving Cert:

34 students sat Leaving Cert, a total of 231 papers.

90 papers were at Higher Level, and Grade C or higher was obtained in 70 of these, equal to 78%.

138 papers were at Ordinary Level , and Grade C or higher was obtained in 108 of these, equal to 78%.

3 papers were at Foundation Level, and Grade C or higher was obtained in 2 of these, equal to 66.6%.


Leaving Cert Applied:

43 students sat Leaving Cert Applied.
18 (42%) obtained Distinction, 24 (56%) obtained Merit and 1 (2%) obtained Pass.

Junior Cert:

85 students sat Junior Cert, a total of 647 papers.
147 were at Higher Level, and Grade C or higher was obtained in 131 of these, equal to 89%.
410 papers were at Ordinary Level , and Grade C or higher was obtained in 341 of these, equal to 83%.
90 papers were at Foundation Level, and Grade C or higher was obtained in 75 of these, equal to 84%.

Pupils in the post-primary section are offered a range of programmes leading to state certification. A wide selection of subjects is provided at varying levels to suit their abilities and needs. Staff members seek to assist pupils in achieving the highest possible academic standards and the generous pupil-teacher ratio allows for the provision of much individual and differentiated support.
